As 2025 settles into its stride, many people find that their initial enthusiasm for New Year’s resolutions has waned. Too often, this happens because the goals they set were not thoroughly planned.
![]() It is much like dentistry: when time is not invested in proper treatment planning, the outcome can easily fall short. If you want your professional or personal objectives for 2025 to succeed, give them the attention they deserve from the outset.
Remember the principle, “If you are not changing it, you are choosing it.” Without deliberate action, current circumstances remain unchanged.
This is where Jane’s toolkit on well-formed outcomes and STRONG goals comes in. It helps you to step back, define what you want, and create a strategy to get there.
A good first step is to evaluate where you stand now. In dentistry, we conduct a full examination and BPE score to form a baseline before deciding on treatment. The same logic applies to your personal or professional life. Think of it like getting on the scales when you want to lose weight. Until you know your current position, it is difficult to plot your route forward.
